Green Mexican Alligator Lizard For Sale
A species like nothing else; that is the Green Mexican Alligator Lizard. A strictly arboreal species found 100 feet up in the canopies of Central America, these vibrant green, broad-headed, armor scaled lizards are like nothing else out there. They are endangered in the wild, and captive breeding programs could become an important asset to the species' preservation, so we do encourage any of those looking to purchase to consider breeding as an option. These lizards are very difficult to acquire, and are rarely available. Ovoviviparous (the reptile version of live bearing) reproduction habits reduce some of the risk associated with breeding, but the protocol for doing this is still in its pioneer stages at the time. Cool, moderately humid conditions serve them well, as does a warm basking spot. UV should be provided, and a wide variety of feeder insects will ensure that they are provided a balanced and nutritious diet. Dusting supplements are suggested to ensure that they are receiving an appropriate vitamin and mineral balance. In their native habitat, they take shelter in epiphytic bromeliads high in the treetops, and with minimal effort and planning, this can easily be reproduced in the home terrarium. Few lizard species offer the promise of such reward as the Abronia, though they are best left to a keeper with substantial experience. These are very rarely available, when we have them, be sure to act quickly. Price is per 1.1 Pair

Lizards arrived safely! The customer service was wonderful. There was a problem with the delivery service but they handled it like the pros that they are and I'm grateful for it. Customer service was very friendly and lizards are nice and healthy. I would recommend them for any live animal purchases, most definitely. Thanks First Choice!
