Large Walk in Cage for housing W.C c.melleri

Most of our Imported chameleons are Imported Directly, or Cherry picked from other dealers in the area. When we recieve
an import shipment, we rush the animals back to our facility, and quickly unpack them. on arrival they are all given a 20
minute shower in Luke warm water. After they are well hydrated, they are seperated into individual screen cages measuring
16*16*18 and either housed individualy or in 1.1 groups. The cages are well planted, with live plants such as Ficus
benjamina or Scheffalera abricola, and each cage is cleaned after the last animal was in it(this prevents the spread of possible
parasites). The day after arrival they are given another long shower , and then offered a small meal. The following day,
every animal (except for gravid females) is treated with a dose of fendebendezole or Panacur. Each animal is treated as if
they were part of our breeding project. So next time you are at a herp show or pet store, ask the dealer the history
of the animals, and if W.C, you should look for an answer like this. Part of the Bad reputation that W.C chameleons
have recieved is due to the initial treatment that they recieve when they arrive in our Country. If chameleons are not
given this treatment, they will not thrive in captivity. We are willing to provide individual pictures. many dealers
say that they have too many animals, or they do not have enough time to take individual pictures, While we have 100's of chameleons
at time, we can take individual pictures for parties that are seriously interested in purchasing an animal(no picture collectors
please) when we get a chance.
